The radial centrifugal compressor of the Eco⊕Energy CPS intake the ambient air and compress it to 4,5 bar. After that the compressed air will be mixed with fuel in the combustion chamber and is burned efficiently. Afterward the combustion gases expand through the micro gas turbine and the pres-sure decreases to nearly atmospheric pressure. The temperature drops to approximately 650°C. The exhaust gas will be supplied to the recuperator and exchanges thermal power with the cooler compressed air after the radial centrifugal compressor for preheating the air before the combustion chamber. When the gas leaves the recuperator the temperature drops to approximately 270°C.
